The innovation of the Instant Custom Fit lies in its unique fitting method, which ensures that the fit and comfort of the mouthguard are so close to those of a custom-made mouthguard (i.e., one fitted directly for you by a dentist) that you’ll hardly notice the difference. The two clips provided are placed around the mouthguard during the fitting process. After heating the mouthguard in a water bath, you bite down on it with your upper teeth, while biting down on the white clip with your lower teeth. This prevents any damage to the lower part of the mouthguard, which could cause discomfort later on. 

In addition, the notches on the white ring wrap around those on the black ring, where your mouthguard rests. These notches fit very snugly around the mouthguard and are tightened by the movement of your bite. As a result, the PowerFit conforms perfectly to your teeth and fits like a glove.

Our patented dual-compression mold uses Hyperflex technology and harnesses the force of the jaw to create a perfect oral impression. This quick and easy fitting process 

results in a custom, dental-grade mouthguard that offers unmatched retention, fits comfortably over the teeth, and guarantees the same precision as a dental thermoforming machine.

Opro’s three-layer mouthguard features a durable outer layer for enhanced impact protection, a soft inner layer for comfort and a snug fit, and “Air Spacers” for maximum shock absorption and optimal protection.

This is where Opro’s unique, patented fin technology comes into play. With Opro, there is no gel inside the mouthguard shell—instead, there are raised fins. When adjusted in warm water, these fins spread away from the teeth and conform to the dentition to ensure maximum protection. This prevents excess gel—which typically leaks out the sides of commercially available mouthguards—from compromising the fit and comfort.

The innovative stretch zones (three small grooves distributed around the perimeter of the mouthguard) also allow the shell to stretch for wider teeth and retract for narrower teeth. This ensures that everyone can enjoy a perfectly fitted mouthguard.
