The innovation of the Instant Custom Fit lies in its unique customization process, which ensures that the fit and comfort of the mouthguard come so close to those of a custom-fit mouthguard—one that a dentist customizes directly for you—that you’ll hardly notice the difference. The two included clips are placed around the mouthguard during the fitting process. After heating the mouthguard in a water bath, you bite down on it with your upper teeth, while your lower teeth bite down on the white clip. This prevents any damage to the lower part of the mouthguard that might bother you later. Furthermore, the interlocking teeth of the white brace close around those of the black brace, where your mouthguard is positioned. These interlocking teeth, in turn, fit very tightly around the mouthguard and are further tightened by your bite movement. As a result, the mouthguard hugs your teeth snugly and fits like a glove.

Our patented dual-compression cage utilizes Hyperflex technology and harnesses the power of the jaw to create a perfect mouth mold. This simple, quick fitting process produces a custom, dentist-grade mouthguard with unmatched retention that fits comfortably over the teeth and offers the same precision as a dental thermoforming machine. Opro’s three-layer mouthguard features a durable outer layer for enhanced impact protection, a flexible inner layer for comfort and customization, and “Air Spacers” for maximum cushioning and optimal protection. Opro mouthguards do not contain gel inside the shell; instead, they feature raised fins. During the customization process in hot water, these fins spread out across the teeth and mold to the dentition to ensure maximum protection. This prevents excess gel—which typically leaks out the sides of standard mouthguards—from compromising the fit and comfort. The innovative stretch zones (three small indentations distributed around the edge of the mouthguard) also ensure that the shell can expand to accommodate a wide set of teeth and contract to fit a narrow set.
